ZKTeco MA500 biometric access control system

The MA500 is an advanced biometric access control terminal that can operate in standalone mode and also via TCP/IP or RS485 for network management software. Equipped with a robust metal housing and durable backlit keypad, the MA500 is vandal-resistant and IP65 rated. It is suitable for installation in high-traffic and harsh environments.
In addition to connecting to an electric lock, door sensor, alarm, and exit button, the MA500 can function as a Wiegand fingerprint reader via any third-party control panel, i.e., network mode. Replacing conventional proximity or keypad access control systems with biometric technology is very easy.
Coming with the latest firmware, the MA500 supports ZKAccess3.5 management software with versatile features and powerful functions. Another advantage is its support for the FR1200 fingerprint reader and its ability to implement a Master and Slave solution via RS485 connection instead of Wiegand. The MA500 can also function similarly to the FR1200, connecting to inBIO series controllers as an RS485 fingerprint reader.
